The South Pier Lighthouse is enjoyed by thousands of visitors and residents who come to Charlevoix by water or who visit the pier. It is one of the most photographed structures in the City of Charlevoix; its preservation for these reasons and as an aid to navigation, is extremely important.

In January we welcomed three new Trustees to our C3F Board. Allow us to introduce Sarah Malpass, a former teacher at East Jordan Public Schools and current active community volunteer representing the city of East Jordan.

In the aftermath of last year’s ice storm, the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra wanted to do something for the community; to raise people’s spirits and provide inspiration, warmth, and connection.

A C3F Charlevoix Student Success grant enabled the Charlevoix Public Schools art class to purchase a large format plotter printer, TV, and display stand, which has significantly improved their abilities to showcase student artwork.

A recent C3F Community Priorities grant contributed to the massive Career & Technical Education Enhancement project taking place at North Central Michigan College.

The Boyne Arts Center, in partnership with the Boyne District Library, and with support from a C3F Arts & Culture grant, hosted 5 one-week children's art camps last summer for kids aging from 2nd grade through middle school.
